In my capacity as the Head of the Department of Urdu at GNIES, I take pride in guiding this pioneering institution established in 2023 in Dera Ghazi Khan, South Punjab, Pakistan. Our overarching mission is the strategic positioning of Urdu as an international language with influence in sciences, technology, politics, and culture. Through meticulously crafted M.S. and B.S. programs, we systematically address challenges confronting prospective researchers, with a primary focus on cultivating a new generation of scholars. Acknowledging the profound ideological significance of Urdu, the scholars under our purview at GNIES are aptly prepared to engage in rigorous scientific research, thereby contributing substantively to the enrichment and global recognition of Urdu as a language of considerable influence.
