The Department of Computer Science is home to an exciting and brilliant community of academics, researchers, and students. It is recognized for high-quality teaching and research. We attract staff and students from all over Pakistan. In recent years the immense growth of numerous industries resulted in an instant need for young and energetic professionals, who could utilize their skills internationally to support the IT industry experts.
The students in this department have almost practically unrestricted access to the computers and professional software tools. The GNIES has established well equipped Computer Labs with profiting expertise of PTCL and HEC. All the computers are connected through networking and equipped with internet access.
The Department of Computer Science has been established at GNIES. The first batch for admission in the Department has been started due to the demand of the area. It has been decided by the GNIES Authorities that Morning/Evening Sessions may be started in the best interest of the students as well as the area. The Faculty of the Department consists of professional and experienced teachers. Further, the Renowned Professors have been engaged as Visiting Faculty to ensure their maximum exposure for our students.
