English is acknowledged worldwide as the sole medium of international communication and information. GNIES aims to produce empowered learners, strong oral and written skills. It will help them to fulfill their socio-economic needs and also inculcate a creative, analytical, and reflective bend of mind to enable them to think independently and critically. The importance of the English language is beyond any doubt, so the responsibility of preparing the youth to cater for the challenging time and polishing their communicative competence rests on the shoulders of this Department. It is an honor for this area that a prominent educationist and eminent scholar, Prof. (R) Mumtaz Ahmad Khan (Author of the Current Book Series) is associated with this Department.
The Department of English has been established at GNIES. The first batch for admission in the Department has been started due to the demand of the area. It has been decided by the GNIES Authorities that Morning/Evening Sessions may be started in the best interest of the students as well as the area. The Faculty of the Department consists of professional and experienced teachers. Further Prominent Professors have been engaged as Visiting Faculty to ensure their maximum exposure for our students.
